Step-by-step guide on how to set up your MINICAMP kids teepee play tent easily and correctly.

Here’s what’s included in your MINICAMP teepee set:
- 5 pairs of long poles (numbered 1–5) with white plastic connectors
- 4 short base poles with loops
- Teepee fabric
- Rope with 2 pompoms (1 pompom tied to a rope, 1 pompom loose)
- Stability bar
- Printed instructions
Step number 1.
Join each pair of long poles with a white plastic connector. The pairs are numbered, so match them up: 1 with 1, 2 with 2, and so on. For a sturdier frame you can glue the joints, but then you won't be able to take the poles apart for storage.
Step number 2.
Slide each long pole into its sleeve on the fabric. Leave the laces hanging free at the bottom, because you'll need them in step 6.
Step number 3.
Stand the teepee up. Start with pole 1 next to the entrance and work your way around to pole 5 on the other side of the entrance (see the diagram). Slide each new pole under the previous one. The last pole (5) goes over pole 1. Seen from above, the pole tops form a neat spiral.
Step number 4.
The rope has a sharp, taped end. Use it to thread the rope through the holes in all 5 poles, in order: first pole 1, then pole 2, and so on up to pole 5. Don't mix up the order. Then pull the rope so both ends are the same length. Only then tie the poles tightly together.
Step number 5.
Cut off the taped end of the rope and tie a knot at the end. Attach the spare pompom with a double knot, then carefully trim any loose threads. Please watch the video if you'd like to see how it's done.
Step number 6.
Slide the short base poles into the inner sleeves along the bottom edge. Starting at the front, use the laces to tie each long pole to the base poles next to it.
Step number 7.
Fit the stability bar across the inside of the entrance: press its plastic holders firmly onto the two front poles, just below the sheer window.
